Bicycles presents The 2010 KHS Bicycle Gravity Open DH Race at Plattekill Bike Park, May 20-23, 2010. It will be the
second stop of the Pro/Am Gravity Tour in 2010. The Pro Gravity Tour is the USA
Cycling National Series for Downhill racing. The KHS Bicycle Gravity Open will
feature a UCI Downhill Points Race and will also be used a the Junior World
Team Qualifier for the World Champs. The pro leader of the Pro Grt Series will
also be automatically qualified to the USAC World Team. This race will also be the InnaguralEastern States Cup Race. Pros will compete for a $1575 Cash Purse.
Amateurs will compete for 4 complete KHS Bicycles. The four Complete bikes will
go to the fastest Cat 1,2,3 Men and the fastest Amateur Woman. These are all
top of the line KHS Bicycles with a total value of over $15000

Plattekill Bike Parkis located
in Roxbury, NY. The park has been hosting downhill mtb races for well over a
decade. The trails are endless and offer something for riders of all abilities.
The fall line trail sections are very steep and the natural terrain offers
loose shale with large rock drops. Plattekill Bike Park uses two lifts
accessing two distinct peaks. Lift attendants place your bikes on the chair for
the ride up. The base lodge offers a cafeteria, bike shop and restrooms. On the
deck will be burgers and refeshments. Including a free lunch on Saturday for

We
will be open Thursday thru Monday for riding and practicing. The following
Weekend is The US Open in NJ, approx 2 hours away.
The Team Village
located in the lower grass lot will offer free pit
space to teams on a first come first served basis. Parking may be restricted in
the team village area so come and set up early.
Special Parking restrictionswill be enforced
Water will be available inthe Base Lodge.
No Electric will beavailable. Generators allowed until 10pm.
PlattekillMountain is the longest operating bike park in the Northeast with over 60 miles of bike-specific lift accessed trails operating two lifts to two mountain peaks.

Plattekill Bike Park will be paying cash 3 deep –
Min $20 per racer entry in the Pro class, $10 per racer entry to all Cat1
classes and $5 per racer entry to all Cat2 classes. All classes will
receive custom 2010 Eastern States Cupl Medals. While upping the payouts
MORECASH FOR ALL RACERS: On top of our cash payouts NEMA has partnered with us to pay CASH
to the top three in ALL race classes through The NEMA Cash Contingency Program.
The plan will pay racers $25/15/10 that wear a NEMA product and list them as a
sponsor on our race entry sheet.

Reserve spaces early. No e-z
ups/tents will be allowed in the top two lots without reserved pit space, NO
exceptions. The Reserved pit area will be patrolled day and night throughout
the event.
The third lot will feature primative camping as usual.
Camping will cost $10 per site/night.
